THIS EMAIL WAS RECEIVED BY A FRIEND IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC (FEB 07)

Father, thank you for the *organizers* and their hearts that long to do your will, regardless of what may seem best by others. Thank you for equipping them for this ministry of hosting *believers* in their home! Father, let this be a time of genuine worship and praise focused solely on you. Let others in Whitehall hear about this gathering of Christians and be interested enough to go and join, whether they themselves are believers yet or not. Be in every part of planning and preparing that the *organizers* are going through as they seek You for direction. Give them clarity and patience as they wait to hear from you in your perfect time. Thank you for being so accessible, so loving, so perfect. You amaze me with each e-mail, Father!! Hallelujah! In Jesus' name I pray these things. Amen. Natalie

THIS EMAIL WAS RECEIVED BY A COLLEGE PROFESSOR WHO VISITED OUR HOME & OUR WEBSITE

My family and I recently visited the home of Faber and  Sandy McMullen, which is also the site of The Home Fellowship.  After speaking with Faber and reading  these materials about THF, I was struck by the similarity between THF and the earliest Christianchurches, which met in the homes of believers.  In  fact, in I Corinthians 16:19, Paul sent greetings to the Corinthians from Aquila and Prisca, "together with the church that is in their house" (which apparently was located in Ephesus at that time). So it appears that the first Christian churches were those like THF, a group of believers meeting together in a local home to study God's Word and to worship, pray, and fellowship as a community of faith.

So, may God bless Faber and Sandy, together with all of the believers who gather together to worship in their home as THF, much like the Ephesians did in the house of Aquila and Prisca some 2000 years ago.  THF is following a time honored Christian tradition, and may it have as great an impact on the faith of its members and the surrounding community as did the church led by Aquila and Prisca so many years ago.

The Home Fellowship is a diverse group of believers in Jesus. We had our first assembly together almost three years ago, on February 4, 2007. We met eagerly when community residents voiced a desire to "get this thing going".
