Sarah and Phil digging into the Word

Folks joining into the teaching / discussion

Our first meeting was on February 4, 2007.  Faber and Alex McMullen are shown here in the first few minutes before the 10 AM meeting.  We used a pewter chalice from Mullingar Ireland for the Cup and a bread plate purchased from a shop on the site by the sea of Galilee where Jesus is thought to have multiplied the loaves and fishes.  There was a time of prayer for 10-15 minutes, we sang praise songs together, took communion together, and then had our love feast.  A member roasted a turkey for the feast.  It was a great day!!

We practice the Breaking of Bread each week together.  Shown here is Greg Vaughan facilitating the remembrance of Christ's Body and Blood being sacrificed for us.

Everybody enjoys the "Love Feast" immensely.  We're all eating way too much when we're hoping to be "moderate in all things".  This is too much fun!

Many of the members of the group live on farms and enjoy the pleasure of working with horses.  This is a beautiful photo taken, looking out the window from where we have our worship services.

The McMullen Farm is the current place where our  group gathers Oct 1- My 31st. We are blessed to be surrounded by beautiful meadows, wheatfields, and woodlands at the McMullen's farm.

Much of our group is made up of outdoorsmen, horse trainers, artists and people who farm and develop the land. Our group has many people who choose to live in the country to be near His creation. So we are collectively filled with awe at the beauty of God's creation here in Grimes County Texas, where we live.  We are SO BLESSED to call this place home.

The Home Fellowship is a diverse group of believers in Jesus. We had our first assembly together almost three years ago, on February 4, 2007. We met eagerly when community residents voiced a desire to "get this thing going".
