SUNDAY SERVICES 4:00 PM - Are held at The Corner Cafe, across from the Post Office in Downtown Navasota, Texas.

We are a Home-styled Fellowship of Believers in Jesus Christ.  We come together to praise   God in song, to study the Bible, pray together and bear one another's burdens,  and build each other up in friendship. We are non-denominational, but others might find similarity between us and an Open Brethren Assembly or a simple Bible Church.

We are resolved to follow the directives for the church found in Acts 2:42;

1) To devote ourselves to the Apostles' teaching,

2)  Fellowship with one another,

3)  Break bread together; and

4)  Pray together.

Our Mission is Simply Stated: "Hearts in Christ - Hands in Service".

We seek to have Christ live in and through us and to serve as God's ambassadors to the world in which we live. The culture of much of the present church in America, with its buildings, programs, budgets, financial pressure, and emphasis on numbers, can sometimes distract those who are looking for a simpler approach to the Christian life. We hope in a small way, we can gather and encourage those who hunger for a church more representative of the original model and more relevant to this present time and place. We invite them to seek along with us a more excellent way.

The Home Fellowship is a diverse group of believers in Jesus. We had our first assembly together almost three years ago, on February 4, 2007. We met eagerly when community residents voiced a desire to "get this thing going". The idea of the fellowship was the culmination of many years of preparation in the hearts of the three organizers. The following are all regular teachers at the Home Fellowship, every Sunday.

Daniel Schnaider, a Messianic Jew born to German Jewish refugees in Argentina, has a popular ministry on Mexican television, and is a regular teacher at the Home Fellowship. Fluent in Spanish, Hebrew and English, and versed in the deep traditions of Judaism, Daniel has gradually become an exciting addition to our teaching ministry since he presented our first Seder celebration, two years ago. Christians quickly recognize the special wisdom inherent in Jews who have accepted Christ, and Daniel is a perfect example. He has recently committed to teach our fellowship at least two Sundays per month, and to lead a Bible study on Tuesday nights! What a blessing he is to any who get to hear him.

The Elders

Faber McMullen, a multi-lingual entrepreneur and attorney,

Michael Havens, a licensed counselor and land developer, and

Russell Cushman a local artist and former City Councilman

are the three ruling Elders of this Body of Christ, each serving as lay pastors and teachers as well.
